The diner/kitchen is a large room and has become the focal point to guests that have stayed this year - it leads out on to a terrace and lawns where you will find the hot tub. It gets the morning sun so it is great to sit and have breakfast outside admiring the lovely country side views.
The nearest small town is Midsomer Norton roughly 4 miles away or in the Chew Valley, Chew Magna (large village) - again around 4 miles away.

For family holidays we are close to Weston-Super-Mare, Clevedon, Burnham on Sea, Longleat Safari Park, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury etc....
